Our Safety Measures
We are dedicated to ensuring the Golden Goose theatre is a safe space for those we welcome through our doors. Please help us to achieve this by adhering to our coronavirus measures during your visit. If you have any queries, our box office staff will be happy to help, or you can get in touch prior to your visit.
What you can do...
Please continue to wear a Face Covering while you are inside the theatre, and throughout the performance. You will be able to purchase drinks from the bar and take them into performances; we ask that your mask is lifted to consume these and replaced.
Please maintain social distances where possible in our bar and within the theatre.
Please notify us if the number of tickets on your order is different to the number of people you wish to be seated with. For example, if two people have booked separately and wish to sit together in a bubble. This allows us to mark out the correct number of seats and keep our audiences distanced.
Lateral flow tests are free to order from the government and can give you extra confidence of a negative result before entering public spaces.
What we will do...
We are ensuring our auditorium and bar areas are cleaned between performances, allowing our audiences and artists into a clean area.
We will ensure areas are kept ventilated.
All our staff and performers are performing covid tests daily, to ensure they are negative when entering our space.
We will aim to open our auditorium earlier, allowing audiences to safely find their seats and avoiding large queues or any rush.
We will ensure our audiences are distanced, with specific seats blocked off to stop audience members sitting together who have not booked together.
We are a level access venue and have ramped access into the building and auditorium from street level. We have multiple level access bathrooms and now have a fully wheelchair accessible bathroom in the bar area of the building.
We have unfixed seating, so if you are a wheelchair user and wish to watch the show in your chair, please either notify us when you book, or just let the box office staff know when you arrive and a suitable space will be made available for you.
We do not currently have ramped access to our stage and dressing room area, though this is something we are working towards as we progress.
If you have any access requirements, do let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.
We'd love to hear from you with any comments about our theatre!
